At Gospel Coffee, you’ll find master baristas like Kyle who pour their passion into every cup. As one customer, Eric Krueger, fondly mentioned, even in the early hours when caffeine is a must, Kyle's lattes are crafted with precision and accompanied by beautiful latte art. Such dedication speaks to the craftsmanship that is often hard to come by in today’s fast-paced world. This cultural canvas of comfort and care is palpable in every sip.
The true charm of Gospel Coffee, as noted by customers like Maxim Michaeli, extends beyond just fantastic beverages. It’s a space that feels like home, where the friendly faces of Kyle, Zach, and Jordan create a sense of belonging. Each drink not only delights the palate but also enhances friendship and connection, proving that good coffee has a magical way of bringing people together.
For those looking to complement their drinks with something savory, the café boasts a menu that houses culinary gems. Take, for instance, the scrumptious Pimento Cheese Quiche recounted by customer Suzanne Felber—a perfect fusion of flavors that has the power to take your taste buds on an unexpected journey. The light crust supports a rich filling that dances between cheesy goodness and a playful kick, making it an excellent choice for breakfast or a light lunch.
Customer service at Gospel Coffee is equally commendable, as highlighted by many including Tabitha Davis and B Malmq. The friendly staff are not just serving coffee; they’re creating an experience—one where you feel appreciated and valued. The ambiance encourages patrons to settle in, curl up with a book, or enjoy cheerful conversations with friends while savoring their favorite brews accompanied by delectable bites.

“ Kyle is great. Even at the crack of dawn, when most of us are just fumbling for caffeine, Kyle is pouring perfect lattes and taking the time to add beautiful, fleeting art to to-go cups. It’s an act of care most people would overlook, but it’s a testament to his dedication. In a world where speed often trumps quality, Kyle reminds us that true craftsmanship is alive and well. Rare, but alive. ”
“ Gospel Coffee is one of those places you almost want to keep to yourself. Kyle, Zach, and Jordan make you feel so at home—it’s cozy, warm, and welcoming in the best way. The cortado was absolutely perfect, and the lattes never miss. There’s just something about this place that makes it special. Highly recommend, even though part of me doesn’t want to share! ”
“ Oh.My.Goodness! I have walked past this spot plenty of times, but never went in because I thought it was only about cocktail-styled drinks. Fortunately my photographer is much more adventurous than I am, and convinced me to give it a try. The nicest people, top quality coffee and Chai Lattes, but really won me over was the Pimento Cheese Quiche. Delicious crust, just enough of a bite withe the pimento, but it didn't overpower the egg mixture which made for the perfect blend. The perfect place to start or end your day while supporting a wonderful locally owned business. ”
“ I had another great experience here at Gospel Coffee. The customer service was excellent. Kyle and Zach were amazing! They were very friendly and personable! The lattes are always good. The atmosphere is a total vibe! My friends and I love meeting there early in the morning for coffee! ”
“ Kyle and Nay are so friendly. Based on when I went, they likely closed and opened the next day and were still on top of their service. Americano and cappuccino were professionally made with the beans rightly the star of the show. Highly recommend this shop for a grab and go or to sit a spell and enjoy the city. There are also nearby parks to hang out and enjoy a nice day. ”
“ The staff was so nice and welcoming!! Very friendly and helpful when some products needed descriptions or just finding something that suited our tastes : It made my birthday breakfast pretty great. Zack, Dove, and Heather make a great team and excellent coffee ”
“ Excellent morning spot. We are staying next-door at a hotel and gave this place a try first thing. The people are warm and friendly for sure not feeling like I’m in a rushed or being pushed to order as quickly as I can. We’ve actually had a conversation or two with the staff. Let’s go to the important stuff: the drip coffee is excellent. Day two we tried the espresso. I really Excellent pull and the coffee flavor is amazing -, is on a little of the more medium roast side as we prefer dark roast espresso. The last thing I had was the latte- it was smooth, smooth and delicious. We found this place on Poydras down in the CBD. Their drip coffee is coming out of Philadelphia, but it’s super smooth with great flavor and it’s organic. Their espresso is a little on the medium dark side, but it didn’t offend me as much as people who are making espresso out of medium. The folks you seem to know their coffee and they’re pretty nice. If you get a chance to stop in one day, give him a try. Pro tip from a New Orleans local :: enjoy part of your coffee inside the location and then walk just a few steps down the street and enjoy your croissant and coffee at place de Italia. ”
“ Gospel Coffee was a great experience for me and was easy to find from my hotel. Staff was friendly. The service was fast. Most importantly, the coffee was so good! I went twice during my visit. I will definitely visit again!! ”
